3 oz Aperol

2 oz Prosecco

1 oz Nixie Black Cherry Lime Sparkling Water

Ice cubes

Orange slice or twist, for garnish

Indulge in the perfect summer sipper with our founder + CEO, Nicole Bernard Dawes' Aperol Spritz recipe! This delightful blend of Aperol's bittersweet charm, Prosecco's effervescence, and a hint of black cherry lime sparkle will transport your taste buds to a refreshing Italian getaway in just one glass. Enjoy!


  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes

  2. Pour in 3 ounces of Aperol

  3. Next, gently pour 2 ounces of Prosecco over the Aperol. You can use the back of a spoon or a cocktail stirring stick to help the Prosecco float on top of the Aperol, which creates the classic layered look of an Aperol Spritz.

  4. Top off your spritz with 1 ounce of Black Cherry Lime Sparkling Water

  5. Give it a gentle stir to combine the ingredients slightly, but don't over-stir as you want to keep the layered effect

  6. Garnish your Aperol Spritz with a slice or twist of orange. You can also add a black cherry or two for an extra burst of flavor and a pop of color

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Aperol Spritz!

Feel free to adjust the proportions to your taste. Some people prefer a slightly more bitter or sweeter Aperol Spritz, so you can experiment with the Aperol and sparkling water ratios until you find the perfect balance for your palate.
